Rhinocerebral Mucormycosis

Abstract
Mucormycosis is a fungal disease and seen most often associated with diabetic ketoacidosis and immunocompromised patient. The most frequent form is rhinocerebral mucormycosis and this form of the disease typically starts in the nose, paranasal sinuses, or orbit and extends intracranially .either -by -direct invasion or through blood vessel. It may result in fatal course rapidly due to cerebral involvement if treatment delayed.
This is the report of one case of rhiniocerebral mucormycosis with the review of literatures.
